RC Walk-In Chiropractic FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

At RC Walk-In Chiropractic, we know that you probably have many questions.
If you have a question that is not answered below, please feel free to contact us!

  • What do I wear or bring to my Physiotherapy Appointment?

If the treatment area is foot, ankle, knees or hips, please bring shorts. Otherwise sweatpants and shirts will be okay.

  • What should I expect or prepare for an x-ray examination?

For x-ray examinations, if you have a requisition form from your doctor please provide it to us. If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, please let us know. Preferable clothing to wear is sweatpants and shirts or any clothing without plastic or metal. We may have you wear a gown. We may ask you to remove your ear rings or any other piercings.

  • Could I see a chiropractor for my child?

Yes. Children generally do not need frequent chiropractic adjustments but we definitely welcome spinal check-ups for your child.

  • Can your therapists do pregnancy massage? Or massage for my jaw?

Yes. Our therapists are trained and experienced with post and pre-pregnancy massage. This type of therapy is different from a regular massage for your safety and comfort. We have treated many pregnant and post-pregnant patients with excellent results. Our therapists are also experienced and trained with TMJ (temporomandibular) massage. So If you have pain, spasm in and around the jaw joint or concerns with opening and closing the mouth, try our therapists.

  • How many more visits do I have left before my coverage or insurance runs out?

These questions typically could be answered at our Front Desk. At times, depending on your private health insurance company you may need to make a call for the answer. Our friendly and knowledgeable front desk administrators will help you as best they can.

  • What is included in an Initial Exam?

At our clinic, an initial examination by the chiropractor generally includes a consult, examination and treatment. We begin by listening to you about your pain and concerns, past health history and goals you seek to achieve for your visit. The consult is followed with an examination to determine your diagnosis and treatment with the adjustment.

  • How many times do I have to come in for chiropractic?

Come as often as you want to heal, feel great, defy aging, sleep better and live pain-free!

  • What are your open hours?

The open hours posted on Google for each location is accurate but only refers to Chiropractic Walk-In Hours. For all other services like Physiotherapy, Massage and Acupuncture the hours will differ.
